A dirty and stained A4 sheet of paper, printed with purple images and text in a monospaced font. A logo including a sun, with an ocean wave cresting inside it, in a shape vaguely reminiscent of a tongue ringed by sharp teeth. A large headline reading Last Resort News Report with the tagline Where Else Would You Want To Go? and the date December 2nd, Year 2.
Body text, headline in all caps: Hot Water
Just a warning or reminder to everyone working out in the fields to be careful with the new showers! Run the water a little before checking the temperature!
Katie Coles is recovering from her burns just fine, and our crafty crew will be working on ways to keep the shower from getting too hot to handle on sunny days in the future! Don’t worry about wasting water, no matter how long you have to run it – we need to keep the water in the aqueducts flowing to ensure a clean supply!
Headline in all caps: Santa Secrets
Christmastime is here once more! We’ll have our usual table set up in the dining hall! Tell us what kind of things you want, and we’ll assign you someone to give a gift to in turn! It’s a fun way to make someone’s day, and to get something nice yourself!
New column, headline in all caps: Dragon Time
Make sure you know where the buckets of sand and water are around the Resort, it’s time for dragons once more!
I know some people regard the fires as just a nuisance, but it’s hard not to have a soft spot for one of the few types of critters that are mostly harmless and more inept than malicious. Plus, they make a summer night that much more romantic!
That said, they can cause problems, so be watchful and ready to extinguish any fires in or near the resort! And of course, spare a thought for the patrols that are carrying buckets full of wet blankets while they walk the fences!
Headline in all caps: Splish Splash
Since the new sawmill was set up, the old pit is no longer needed, which means we can return it to its old purpose! Once the pool is filled, we can hopefully have swimming lessons in a safe environment once more, so keep your eyes peeled for a sign-up sheet in the dining hall!
